Delete your account from the app
- Open the DermaLens AI app on your device.
- Go to Profile → Delete Account.
- Follow the in-app confirmation steps. Requests submitted via the in-app Delete Account flow are treated as verified.
Option 2 · Email
Can't access the app?
If you cannot access the app, request deletion by email. Send an email to dermalensai@outlook.com including all of the following:
- Your account email (or phone number) used with DermaLens AI
- Your account UID (if known)
- A short statement: "I request deletion of my DermaLens AI account and associated personal data."
What Gets Deleted
Scope of deletion
On verified deletion we will delete or anonymize personal data we control, including your stored images, chat messages, and account profile data, unless retention is required by law.
Retention & Timing
How long it takes
By default, images and consultation records are retained for 90 days after last access to allow doctors to finish consultations. Verified deletion requests are processed and completed within 30 days of verification. Some metadata required for legal or fraud-prevention reasons may be retained in anonymized form for longer, as required by law.
Verification
Confirming it's really you
For security we will verify your request (e.g., confirm the request comes from your registered email or require a small verification step). Requests sent via the in-app Delete Account flow are treated as verified.
